Hazel is the Clinical Lead and Service Manager for Devon Primary Care Counselling Service.

Hazel is a fully Qualified UKCP Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor, she has worked in the NHS within Primary Care Mental Health for the past 22 years. Prior to this she worked for the NHS managing the Staff Support and Counselling Service. She has worked in the field of Mental Health for the last 26 years both with the elderly and adult population. Hazel’s specialism is  Anxiety, Depression, Domestic Violence /Abuse, Childhood Trauma and Childhood Sexual Abuse, PTSD and C-PTSD and Low Self Esteem.

Hazel is qualified to offer the following approaches;
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy - CBT and Trauma Focussed CBT.
  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy -IPT
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing – EMDR
  • Integrative Counselling
  • Clinical Supervision for Therapists

Luan covers Haldon House Surgery and Imperial Medical Practice, both in Exmouth one 1/2 day per week.

Luan is qualified to offer the following approaches;

  • Integrative Counselling incorporating elements of CBT, Mindfulness and Interpersonal Psychotherapy

Sally Richards Devon Primary Care Counsellor UKCP (reg’d) MSc Integrative Psychotherapy

Sally originally trained in law and became a solicitor working in a large city law firm, Australia and the British Virgin Islands. She has lived in Devon for the last 20 years combining family responsibilities with a variety of paid positions and voluntary roles within the community. Whilst still using the skills developed during her legal career in some roles she also branched out into roles providing support to people in need which led to a deepening interest and retraining in mental health.

Sally is a fully qualified psychotherapist registered with UKCP. Her experience is working with clients with presentations of trauma, eating disorders, self-harm, shame, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, lack of identity and life stage crises, bereavement, difficulties in interpersonal relationships and personality disorders.

Sally is qualified to offer Integrative therapy combining a Person Centred and Psychodynamic approach and utilising components of CBT, Mindfulness, and Compassion Focused Therapy. She is trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy and is working towards her accreditation.
